With Cobra, LAMIA solidifies her role as a detached observer of society, blending sharp wit with unrelenting sound design to deliver a playful yet cutting critique. This electrifying clip provides a fearless glimpse into her defiant sonic world – one that defies conventions, sparks rebellion, and invites us to experience reality through LAMIA’s lens.
LAMIA has a rare form of synesthesia where music and sounds induce mental imagery, dreamscapes and pictures. Inspired by her imaginary visual worlds, she writes, records and produces music influenced by industrial sounds, haunting vocals and cinematic soundscapes.
LAMIA’s video “Paradox” has previously been featured at the BMVA Silver Selection. Will “Cobra” get nominated?
