La Femme – Contaminado (Unofficial Video) | MUSIC VIDEO OF THE WEEK

Léna Charlon produced, directed and released her own, unofficial video for the song “Contaminado” by the French psych-punk rock band La Femme. We are happy to announce it as our Music Video of the Week and take a closer look at it.

The female led video has a strong poetic and dreamlike aspect to it. The mise-en-scène, montage and cinematography at times create an impression which wonderfully leaves room for interpretation. The film is a joy to watch several times as it reveals something new each time; the magic is hidden in the details.

“I found I could say things with color and shapes that I couldn’t say any other way – things I had no words for.” – Georgia O’Keeffe
