BMVA 2021 Nominees – Set 10/13
UNI opens the show and lets us know how it goes down at a goth-freak party mansion, while Simon Thaur’s crew has some 18+ fun in the forest. Los Estanques continue with a story about a Spanish guy who owns a kebab (literally) and it might remind you of some of your night out adventures. Moby will make you think deeply about human actions on the environment affecting the animals with a sweet animation. Surrounded by watermelons, To-Má takes us on a fun journey.
Gaby Amarantos and Jaloo show us the struggles of a love triangle, while Gibkiy Chaplin will make you go crazy with all the camera movements and smooth transitions. Piernikowski and Brodka offer us a smoky, mysterious narrative and Wackelkontakt throws in visuals that’ll keep you glued to the screen. La Chica ends the compilation with a powerful performance, empowering all the ‘lobas’ out there.
