Studio Brave Paris turned momentum into a gothic fever dream — dark, cinematic, and self-produced.
We spoke with cross-disciplinary Studio Brave Paris, the minds behind Send Me Love Letters’ latest video – a self-financed gothic fever dream turned cinematic spectacle.
In just one month of prep and a weekend shoot, 31 collaborators put together by Brave Paris director Hugo and his sister & artistic director of Glastonbury Suzon Depraiter transformed a freezing castle and 41 VFX shots into magic. “It was a huge team effort,” Hugo told us. “Everyone showed unwavering dedication and great professionalism.” Hugo highlights also DOP Teva Vetea as being instrumental in enhancing the image.
From lighting a gothic chapel to animating surreal sequences, the team turned constraint into creativity and chaos into poetry. The result is a dark crescendo of sound, vision, and sheer passion.
What kept them going through the cold and the pressure? And how do you build a world that ends in destruction and rebirth?
