The AI generated video leans into a cyberpunk sci-fi horror aesthetic with its cold, sterile environment and bright red blood scenes. The humanoid robots come across as brutal predators rather than machines. The visuals create a techno-nightmare atmosphere – sleek futurism colliding with survival horror, echoing the worlds of Terminator and Resident Evil.
We have had our Best AI category for the past three years. Initially, we endeavored to incorporate AI works into various existing categories, such as “Best Experimental” and “Best Animation,” among others. However, 2024 marked a pivotal year, characterized by a significant surge in both the quantity and quality of AI-generated content. This notable improvement has prompted us to inaugurate a dedicated “Best AI” category.
