The Berlin Music Video Awards return to Club Gretchen for their 14th edition on June 11th, 12th, and 13th, bringing with them all the activities designed to foster the networking ecosystem that the festival aims to build each year. Connections within this world are not always easy to create, and BMVA continues to bridge this gap through initiatives aimed at connecting people from different backgrounds who share the same desire to create something artistic and unique.
Among this year’s new additions is the Round Table, conceived not simply as a networking event, but as a creative workshop where conversations can evolve naturally into long-lasting collaborations. The format is built around the idea that everyone at the table has equal value: established professionals, emerging artists, jury members, directors, producers, and creatives from different disciplines all sharing the same space, exchanging ideas and experiences without hierarchy.
The atmosphere is imagined somewhere between a podcast and a late-night conversation among friends. Through icebreakers and guided discussions, participants will have the opportunity to openly discuss some of the most relevant themes shaping the current creative industry. Each day will revolve around a specific topic: Queer Identity and Aesthetic on June 11th, Low Budget Production on June 12th, and Originality and Trends on June 13th. The goal is not only to spark conversation, but to encourage honest reflections on artistic identity, production challenges, and the way trends influence visual culture today.
The discussions will be guided by a selection of guests coming from different creative backgrounds, including Xenia and Rosita, directors and producers for Nox Aterna, Manuel Esposito, director of Richey V – Mochi, as well as Julia Zelg and Saint Ahmad.
