This week’s selection is a solo creation, produced over two weeks of intensive work. “Peregrynacja dziadowska” by CZART @czartofficial, a project by @michal_chroscielewski . Michael handled every stage – from generating imagery to animation and editing – describing the process as an immersive flow state where sound and vision guided each decision.
One of the most striking sequences arrives at the 58-second mark: as the saxophone enters, a FIEND bursts from a barn and charges across a pond while a car sinks beneath a bridge. The interplay of motion, music, and symbolism creates a moment of controlled chaos that defines the video’s atmosphere. The piece is a perfect fit for categories like “most trashy” and “most bizarre”, where originality shines through risk-taking.
Conceptually, the piece draws on Peregrynacja dziadowska (1614), a text documenting beggars, wanderers, and women accused of witchcraft. Through the project CZART, the video frames horror as a cultural and poetic narrative rather than mere spectacle — a meditation on folklore, fear, and myth.
