Taking place in a dim South London hotel, Obongjayar clings to a mechanical bull, caught between chaos and control—a raw dance with life’s wild, unrelenting energy.
Director Sophie “energy in motion” Jones’ work shines authenticity and youth culture, bringing out the best of everyone in front of the camera. Across the globe, Sophie captures the pulse of youth culture, personal power, and community spirit, turning her lens toward both the celebrated and the undiscovered to illuminate their distinct stories.
The piece is edited by London-based, Istanbul-raised editor and sound artist Zeynep Ağcabay (@zeynepagcabay_), whose craft reflects a nuanced blend of Eastern and Western influences. Zeynep’s editing style infuses the video with rhythm and emotional contrast, enriching its cultural and sonic depth.
