Our Music Video of the Week is “The Worm” – a collaborative electronic track by Bastian Benjamin, Alberta Balsam, and French II – directed by Harry Barber @harry.bbarber
The Worm presents a surreal narrative: a man runs through a nighttime forest wielding a hammer, eventually encountering a glass box labeled “In Case of Emergency Break Glass.” Upon breaking it, he releases the titular worm into the forest.
Visual effects and animation for the video were crafted by Brent Patterson @delanopatterson using Blender over two weekends, contributing to the video’s distinctive and uncanny aesthetic.
