‘Sliced‘ is a segment at the BMVAs where artists take a closer look at music videos. They share their thoughts on everything that goes into the making of a music video! In other words, you’ll hear them discussing cinematography, directing, music, editing, acting, etc.
Here we have Lance Butters, masked German rapper and a two-time BMVA nominee. Next to him is Christian Alsan, director and a member of the BMVA jury as well. The duo was commenting on ‘Bubblin‘ by Anderson .Paak. The director behind this fantastic music video is Calmatic. Pretty Bird is the production company behind this piece and Ryan Marie Helfant is the DoP. The video also received a nomination for the Best Director category in 2019!
