The Berlin Music Video Awards has always been about more than awarding great music videos. Part of our mission is to connect creative communities, share professional expertise, and explore opportunities for collaboration worldwide.
Recently, Aviel Silook, founder and producer of the BMVA for 14 years, brought this mission to Cebu City, Philippines, where he visited CITE Technical Institute. He led masterclass sessions and private student pitches, sharing insights on how an international creative platform operates and exploring potential avenues for collaboration and business expansion in the region.
The visit also sparked discussions with the CITE board, including Jorge Larobis and Sigmund Estreba, on long-term partnerships and regional engagement. These conversations opened possibilities for operational expansion, professional networking, and strengthening the BMVA’s international presence.
Silook believes that investing in emerging talent is not only socially valuable but strategically important, and he encourages other organizations to engage with new generations to bring fresh perspectives and ideas.
The BMVA continues to grow through global connections, strategic partnerships, and expanding networks, building a platform that has supported artists worldwide for over a decade.
Our team is always happy to be invited to speak at relevant institutions and help build networks that empower the next generation of creators. Let us know if you’d like us to connect to your institute as well
